Clean, modern, and bright. A very short walk to the metro. Maria was an amazing host--kind, available, offered suggestions for where to eat, etc. The sofa bed is in the main area between the bedroom and the bathroom. Just something to keep in mind, depending on your sleeping arrangements.

Maria is amazing! She give us plenty of tips to enjoy Madrid. The place is really clean and quiet, near of all you want. I absolutely recommand this. There is a washing machine and a full equiped kitchen.

The facilities are very good. The location is excellent. The staff is very helpful. High security.

There was no air circulation in the unit,as it had only one window.it was very expensive. We were a family of three and paid 1700 euros for one week during the Christmas holidays.

A perfect place. An astounding, amazing host. I will never forget how Maria treated me and hosted me. I travel for work often, this was very special. The place is in walking distance of Malasana and Chueca among other city centre locations. If I come back to Madrid, it would be my pleasure to stay here again.

Alma Suites has a lot going for it: 1) Great location, close to 3 metro stops and several bus routes, supermarkets, shops, and laundromats. 2) There are plenty of good bars/cafes/restaurants in the area where you get charged non tourist prices. 3) The apartment is well maintained and sparkling clean, well appointed with functional (and functioning!) appliances. 4) Maria and Alessandro were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. Our flight had a delayed arrival, but they were ready to welcome us regardless of the late hour. Maria generously shared her insider"s knowledge on what's happening in Madrid, points of interest, as well as restaurant recommendations for authentic Spanish cuisine. It appears the apartment is usually for long-term rental, so we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to book it. There have been mixed opinions about the Lavapies neighborhood, but we liked it. It wasn't touristy, residents walked their dogs in the morning and afternoon. It was a small town feel in a big city. We felt safe even walking close to midnight. Of course, be aware of your surroundings, always.

I wasn't a fan of the pillows, I wish they were fluffier, but it wasn't a deal breaker. I am certain that had I asked Maria for different pillows, she would have provided it.

One of the best apartments I have ever stayed in:) Comfortable, fully equipped, quiet and cosy. Although there was a really late check in at 23:30 pm, hospitable Maria met us personally, explained all necessary details and gave us useful tips for staying in Madrid. Amazing experience:)

Maria was one of the most welcoming hosts. Everything was exceptionally clean and the apartment had all the necessities. We had a great restful time and enjoyed the very central location. Will definitely stay again next time when in town. Thanks again Maria for everything!

The hostess was very accommodating and friendly, she made sure we had everything we needed, and when my friend arrived the next day she waited for her to give her the keys because I was on a day trip. Very friendly and accomodating host.
