Harmony Resort Boutique Hotel

The manager of the hotel was very friendly lady, and the chefs, breakfast serving staff and the cleaning staff were so nice (we've found most Gambian were friendly). If you go down the hill, by only 3min walk, you reach the vibrant beach. Also you can have dinner in the hotel (it was open to outside air), which were very good.

The place for breakfast and dinner was open to outside air, and if you do not do appropriate anti-mosquitos treatments, you will be bited by them.

Nice Staff! Everybody was very helpfully and friendly! Ousman is a great chef in the kitchen, greeting's to him! Also some love for Ibrahim he's a soul of a human! The Area is quiet and peaceful, perfect after a stressful day in the City Thanks to everyone who's working there

Apart from the initial disinterested greeting by the night man the staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities look like they could be good, but I was the only guest and I felt like I was staying in a hotel that was actually closed.

I arrived by car organized by the hotel at 9:00 p.m. The night man seemed to think it was an inconvenience that I was there (it turns out I was the only guest) and offered me a very pokey, smelly room with no window. The hotel is in an area without other services, food, shops etc. Despite knowing I was coming straight from the airport there was no food available and the restaurant was closed early. After my protests the kindly security guy did take me to a hotel next door where the cook made me some dinner. When I returned to Harmony the night man had begrudgingly prepared a better room for me. All in all this was a poor experience and to be honest, for the first time in a year of traveling, I didn't feel that safe. The hotel looks like it could be quite nice, maybe I just got it on a bad day.

This property has all the comforts of home plus a ocean view. The water and toilet work, the TV and electricity works. The fan and A.C. work there is hot water. You can sleep with the balcony door open and be safe. A small down hill walk to the beach with a organic small farm on the way. Staff are helpful and friendly 😊. Maybe a 10 minute ride from Senegambia. I will return again and again.

The building is quite pretty, the pool is lovely, and the location in relation to the beach is great.

The things that didn’t work, namely the toilet, the shower…this was never discussed clearly. But the staff were always polite about any situation.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff was hospitable and very helpful. Especially the young lady that worked at the reception desk. The free breakfast was "made to order", and it was great. The short down hill walk to the beach was amazing. Great "Bang for the Buck", for the price, I couldn't ask for more!

Good value for the price. Lovely setting right up from the beach. The staff was super helpful. The kitchen stayed open for us, and the food was quite good. We felt at home there. The beach is beautiful and there's a nice, casual restaurant/bar right at the entrance to the beach which is a great hangout.

The place is outdated - needs some upgrades. Appliances, better wifi, that sort of thing. Again, for the price, it's not bad. And very clean. The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes but it's a little steep, so people with limited mobility could have difficulty going up and down.
