"Ice storm lights out"

Imagine driving for 12 hours, not finding anything in Richmond and pushing on while people look for a room anywhere. Parents find a room here but on arrival there is no power and doors are open all over. Getting back into the car for an unknown future hotel seemed better/safer than staying here for free.

Not clean. Not fixed up. Paint splatters everywhere. Not vacuumed. Dirty bathroom. Linoleum Floor tiles loose.
