**** FEEDBACK TO HOSTS RESPONSE ***** 1. Thank you for confirming that the property was professionally cleaned. I can also confirm that they are useless & you would benefit from a change of staff. This property falls well below average in cleanliness standards. No food was left on our behalf, perhaps you would like to check that point again with your "professional" cleaners. All cupboards were full to the brim of already opened food items from previous guests, or yourselves so we could not unpack our own. Mould in fridge and oven is unacceptable. 2. No body soap & only 3 toilet rolls for 7 guests for three days = insufficient. Make up stains on linen & walls is a strange lie to create as none of the guests wear make up. 3. Towels had to be shared due to the odour & large stains, despite what your "professional" cleaners claim. 4. We used the key that was for the garden doors, we do understand very well how lock and keys work. The locking mechanism was missing half the parts, so the key was very much useless. 5. Correct, we did not empty the bins, purely because the outdoor bins were overflowing, hence the terrible smell noted. 6. We are all over the age of 30 so the toys in garden is another unusual lie you have made up. Furniture was also not moved. 7. Correct, beds were not stripped. Even if this was a request on your behalf, the amount of cleaning we had to do to make this property enjoyable I think would grant us grounds to not to strip the beds. 8. The dog faeces covering the garden when we arrived (unlike what you are doing) is not a lie. On the topic of dogs, we did communicate we would be bringing our own dogs and your property was advertised as dog friendly. These are all points that were communicated during our stay & as a solution you offered us a late check out. An inadequate solution for the state mentioned above.

What’s not to love! The interiors, the location, the views from the bedrooms, the beautiful garden! We look forward to staying there again.

House is fantastic, lots of space & lovely gardens. It is in a fabulous location, just a few steps away from the main part of Salcombe.

Sadly, some of the amenities listed were not available at the property leaving us to wash in hand soap! No clean washing up sponges, the hot water ran out, no extra towels or robes and the worst part, was that we had really dirty bed sheets covered in dog hairs!! Also the owners initially appear helpful but when asked about the above, they were entirely rude & have since ignored my further messages despite them offering a refund!

Incredible property set in a beautiful location. The house is very spacious and comfortably sleeps 10. It is well equipped for self catering and has great facilities. Well decorated, clean and modern. Plenty of outdoor space. The hosts were super helpful and quick to reply to any questions. I would love to visit again! Thank you.
