Casa Comtesse

Beautiful house in a great location. The room was large and decorated with the coolest art. It felt very private and peaceful. The staff was so kind and helpful. We were a bit sad when we left…but we’ll be back. Highly recommend Casa Comtesse.

The breakfast was great. The kitchen staff was very accommodating great home family like atmosphere.

Honestly we can't say anything bad about our stay here we loved everything. All the staff where great. Diego, Fernando gave us great information about the areas we had chosen to visit. The 3 Alex Diego and Fernando where very friendly and welcoming not to mention they have great knowledge about the area and surrounding towns. We loved it all.

Everything about Casa Comtesse was exceptional! The building is beautiful and the location is so convenient to restaurants and the metro. Also, I felt VERY safe in the area around the hotel. The staff was beyond kind and helpful. The room I stayed in was so comfortable and very peaceful. Loved the bath amenities of the room too. The breakfast was delicious every morning, very accommodating to my dietary preferences. Having a 24/7 espresso machine and filtered water was great too. :) Would stay here again in a heartbeat when visiting CDMX again!

Alex was awesome! He was very welcoming and friendly; he recommended some of the best restaurants/meals we had in Mexico city. They seemingly have a rotating staff of three people who switch every 8 hour shifts so there is always someone available; different staff on weekends. They give you a key chain with 3 keys (front gate, main door, room door). Front gate gets stuck easily so you have to wiggle it a bit. Breakfast was very nice: included some basic continental options starting at 7:30am but then a new local mexican breakfast made fresh to order each morning (starting at 8:00am). tea/coffee available in the dining area all day. You can use their kitchen/fridge whenever needed. They have a water filter in the kitchen which was very useful for refilling our day bottles. Nice garden area outside where you can have your breakfast if you ask but you will be eaten by mosquitos. Very friendly kitchen staff. Tip jar on the kitchen table. Wifi was good. They also have a bar where you can help yourself with an honor system lodger. Tissue box and shampoo/conditioner  were provided. Also a filtered bottle of water is provided in the 4 room. The neighborhood felt safe and it was pretty quite. Easy uber access to the misc sites. Several convenience stores and food options within walking distance.

Only negative was the shower drain was very slow and we had to stop the water multiple times during a shower.

All of the staff were SO friendly and helpful. They were clearly proud of their home and to share it. The small private bar with craft cocktails and the adorable courtyard were my fav!
