The staff are lovely. The food was fantastic. The location was great. The bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel is on a busy street, and while it's in Condesa it's not right there in the middle of the greenest or trendiest sections of the area. But it is close to all that if you don't mind walking a bit (10 to 15 minutes) and quite convenient if you, like us, prefer to take public transit. There's a metro stop only a few blocks away and a rapid bus stop (the kind with its own lane and central platform) literally across the street. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and very kind, and that, combined with the homey feel of the main space (it apparently was originally a home) adds to the charm. There's a communal dining area and a cute little garden spaces in front and in back, and the breakfasts include all the usuals but also homemade Mexican dishes that vary from day to day and are cooked to order. While the kitchen does have one main cook, the hotel staff work there too, and the collective effort is part of that friendly ambiance. The rooms were spacious, and the hotel was quiet.

The rooms are big and a bit bare bones. Some people might find them to be less well appointed than expected for a hotel with such high ratings. We didn't mind overall, though it would be nice if the bathrooms were updated and upgraded a bit, Still, everything was functional .

They dont play American Christmas music like the Andaz!. But seriously, great low key atmosphere with attention to detail. Unlike the Andaz.

Very lovely house on the edge of Roma

Unique architecture, furnishings and art. Super friendly and helpful staff. wonderful breakfasts. option to have tea or coffee any time of day. ( I love my herbal te at night). Great location. library, hats for loan, mezcal tasting….loved it all.

Bed was a big stuff for us. Room had a strange layout so was awkward to place luggage. closet doors block access to closet -consider curtains.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and prepared breakfast for us even though we had to leave very early in the morning. The breakfast tasted great.

The volume of water from the shower was a little small, but not a major issue.

Beautiful house full of character & history . Very helpful and friendly staff . Both Alex & Diego spoke good English and were very professional. Breakfast was very good . Full use of kitchen if we wished and tea / coffee making available all day. Lovely private garden at rear . Location very good . Unfortunately we were only spending one night there before returning home. Would definitely go back there if ever visiting Mexico City again.

Beautiful Breakfast was a delightful communal experience -different each day. a special offering was cooked each day but if that did not suit eggs were available as was a generous continental choice with pastries from an excellent bakery. Alex gave us a lovely welcome and all the staff were super communicative cheerful and helpful. The historic house was bedecked with interesting objets d'art and furniture and the walls with framed pieces-with sale and background details available on qr codes. Front and back leafy garden space was available for relaxing quietly.
