Location, steep hill but otherwise no problems

Brilliant location with a beautiful view. Great cottage

Close to amenities, comfortable beds, nice comfy sofas plenty of home comforts.

Not as clean as I would have liked, the kitchen sink and cooker top needed cleaning before use. A couple of broken glasses in cupboard and the washing machine didn't have a door so unable to use.

Lovely layout and pristine throughout. Close to town centre and other towns within easy driving distance.

Steep walk up from town but well lit.

Well equipped, clean property, convenient for town. Beautiful view over Jedburgh from the cottage.

Arrival in the dark was very difficult - navigating steep steps and a gravel path down to the cottage (hard on the knees), trying to find correct cottage and carrying luggage etc in the dark. More outside light would be very helpful as would have been information about the road closure in Exchange Street.

Peaceful location and well maintained property. Easy walk down to the local historic attractions and the river path.

I would imagine that the walk back up to the property could be a challenge for the elderly or infirm. However, having said that, I was using a walking stick to help with a bad ankle, and I managed fine.

Cosy home from home. All that we needed was here, really appreciated the bread and milk etc.

One of us struggled with the outdoor steps but we knew in advance and strength has grown through the week!
