"Great place for a break. I’d go back"

We received great and very clear instructions ahead of arriving. On arrival the property was warm and welcoming. The location is great and the views from the cottage are stunning. I would definitely stay here again.

The double bed could really use a new mattress, unfortunately it was not comfortable to sleep in.

Lovely clean cottage with fabulous views over the town. It was very comfortable and quiet. Shower was good, and there were a lot of mirrors with good light into the cottage. Five min walk into the town. Free parking which is always a bonus when booking cottages.

Lovely well looked after cottage.Stunning view. Cottage was clean and cosy. Heating was on at the arrival and lights on ,making it easier to find the right cottage. We definitely recommend it.

"A very satisfying comfortable peaceful value for money vacational stay!"

10.0

The self catering. Staying in a cottage for cultural aspect relating to the historical town of Jedburgh. In other words, staying for a similar price in a travel lodge, for me relates to a stay in a city like London, and is clinical. A bed and a shower basic. Therefore far better to have a holiday home all to oneself. Not staying with others. Perfect!

It is a very steep walk to get to the property, but only takes minutes. I have emphysema so I would get breathless walking up. However I'm lucky not to have to walk up as I come to Jedburgh to see my grown up sons who both drive, and they give me a lift up to the property. The walk down is a breeze!
