14 Tweed Cottage

Mit allem Nötigen ausgestattetes Ferien-Cottage mit schönem Blick fast über die gesamte Stadt. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur weiterempfehlen.

Für uns irrelevant, aber der Hinweis bei der Beschreibung sollte nicht übersehen werden: die erhöhte Lage bedeutet, dass man das Haus nur über Treppen erreicht.

Tweed cottage was fabulous, we stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful time It was cosy and had everything you would need The location is great, five mins walk to centre of Jedburgh Hosts were so helpful, all communications clear and easy to understand

Nothing to dislike at all, it was great

Fantastic town for a get away. Culture, food and pubs all top notch. Everyone warm and friendly.

Maybe a little steep to get to the property but nothing to strenuous or it didn't impact our stay at all.

Good facilities and an excellent location for exploring the under rated Scottish Borders. Edinburgh is also easily reached.

The property is on a steep slope with steps leading down from the car park. There are motion sensor lights on these but not all were working and some came on too late. Using the phone torch resolved this.

Jedburgh ist ein schönes Städtchen. Ideal als Stützpunkt für Ausflüge in die Borders. Das Tweed Cottage liegt an einem Hang und ist fußläufig nur einen kurzen Gang von der Hauptstraße und der Abbey entfernt. Auf zwei Stockwerken finden sich im oberen Bereich die zwei Schlafzimmer und das Bad. Im unteren Bereich ist der Koch- und Wohnbereich in einem Raum untergebracht. Die Aussicht aus den Fenstern und vom Balkon vor dem Erdgeschoss ist super. Perfekte Unterkunft. Sehr gerne wieder.

Parking and Gravel path - plus no niceties from the Hosts. No arrival goodies - no personal messages. It was transactional at best and not the standard we are used to from our stays.

Self-catering cottage, set in a beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet The cottage is extremely well equipped and everything in good working order The car park is a little walk away from the property but it does inform you when booking that it wouldn't be suitable for any persons with mobility issues I found wee things in the cottage makes it stand out from other similar accommodation,.such as plenty of mirrors, the provision of hair driers, waste bins in the bedrooms and bathroom, even a laundry bin making life easier The hosts are very helpful and aim to ensure you are looked after and have an enjoyable stay , we had a minor issue when arriving that was sorted within minutes and we really appreciated that.

I didn't sleep well as felt the mattress on the double bed was too hard for me, maybe just a personal choice as other guests have found it comfortable
