Super cool . Unique qualities all over the place

Elevator issue . Just a short walk up to the first floor . Sure it is temporary..

The location was wonderful. Right in the heart of the town. Easy access to restaurants and cafes. An interesting historical building.

They need proper black out curtains that cover the entire window. I thought for the price we paid that the amenities would be a bit better. I think they need to do some updating of the rooms.

The staff member could not find my reservation from booking.com and tried to send me away until her coworker intervened

We opted to stay in the one of the historic hotel rooms - it was a 2 bedroom with tons of space and a full kitchen perfect for a girls weekend in Bellingham!

Didn't anticipate the train noise, but the ear plugs helped a lot!

Location was good.

No breakfast No laundry services you have to do you own Location is very downtown and surrounding areas rundown

The character was great - lovely 1920’s glam foyer and bar.

Quite tired once you passed the entrance. Cracked tiles in bathroom and shower tiles worn.

Once we moved to the non-historical rooms, the impression of the hotel changed considerably. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and even the one that faced the street was not very noisy. Thank you to Caden (or Caleb? Sorry, I forgot his name!) for helping us move to a more comfortable room.

We had originally booked two harbor view historical rooms, which we picked because of the views and the extra light. However, it had never crossed our minds (nor was it mentioned—or at least I didn’t notice) that the rooms might not have air conditioning, especially considering the prices paid and the way the windows were set up. The rooms were comfortable though the bathroom was extra small. The emphasis was on the “historical” part of the description, with doors without peep holes and huge spaces between the door and the floor. The very hot days made the rooms uncomfortable, especially as they were in a higher floor. Thank you to Hotel Leo for allowing us to move to more modern rooms. It made the visit a lot more comfortable.
