Hotel Leo

The location is great for walking around the city. The lobby and bar are very cool and historic. The library and billiards room is so cool. It was a very cool place but needs updating. The room was big and had great views!

The noise. The train is loud and comes in the middle of the night. Also you can hear other people above you walking and talking. The beds could use updating. No breakfast available at hotel.

The hotel Leo is conveniently located downtown in Bellingham. This place has character with an interesting history. It has recently been restored back into a hotel. There are charming relics of its history throughout the hotel, as well as plenty of modern amenities. The fitness center is next level with a separate cardio room from the well-appointed weight room. There is a good size laundry facility that works off of an app, but staff say they are converting it back into coin operation. if you want to watch something on the big screen, there is a theater with a DVD player and DVD selection or regular streaming options. Our room had a somewhat musty smell, but we were pleased that we could open the window and let fresh air in. The room has all the basic conveniences one would expect. I was a little unsure of the instant coffee provided, but it ended up tasting delicious! My main critique is that there the restaurant has very limited hours and is only open Thursday through Sunday. You will need to plan to eat elsewhere. There are convenient bakeries and cafés within walking distance.

I love the Leopold from I lived here as a senior living and it still has that lovely grand spirit or feeling. I feel like I am in a place where history kind still lives in the background. I can just feel it. And it affects ,e and some others, maybe everyone, in that I feel a special experience. I came up for a community Passover Seder--but it would not matter why I came. I would still love being here. I will come again for mini-vacations from my long term care home.

Super friendly and accommodating staff. The room was HUGE, technically 2 rooms for the price of 1. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was very clean. Awesome location. Walking distance to many of the areas shopping and restaurants. Free parking!! Would definitely stay again!

The bed was a bit soft for us older folks.

I love staying here at least one night every time I come back home to visit. I’ve always been impressed with the large rooms, lovely staff and being in walking distance some of my favorite places.
