Hotel Leo

The photos lie. The room was rather gross and just felt cheap. The art was hot glued to the wall and fell of when I was halfway across the room. The sink was cracked super deep. The floor tiles were chipped. The bed was made out of plywood with zero support and there were no blackout curtains. Please, the proximity to downtown is not worth it. Go literally anywhere else.

Great location, loved the panoramic view room!

The lobby, library, and social room are beautiful. The rooms need a lot of work. There’s almost no artwork on the walls, so it looks very desolate. You need a coffee pot and not just a tea kettle with instant coffee. Also, even though the bedside table lamps are modern looking, they are not functional. They are so bright that I spent most of my time before I went to sleep shielding my eyes from them. The hotel has a lot of potential, but the rooms themselves need some work.

Its location and the staff

The heating system is ancient and makes an almost unbelievable amount of noise. I ended up turning it off completely. The blinds need to be updated and if you’re a light sleeper, know that they provide earplugs due to the train noise.

Have stayed here a couple of times and always has been a good experience. Walking distance from the theater, restaurants, and bars.

The location was perfect for restaurants and shopping. Free parking was great.

Shower floor needed a deep scrub. It was difficult to warm up the room.

The staff and the lounge were major pluses. If you are lucky, you will be there for jazz night. Food excellent also.

Rooms were very sparse and utilitarian. The beds were uncomfortable and low. Bad acoustics. Not enough parking.
