Everything was good except for the communication… it was really hard to reach the host. The check-in process was frustrating and lacked enough information. It was a self check-in, but I didn’t know that I had to pay a deposit in advance and provide proof of ID before checking in. I contacted the host, and my family had to wait over 30 minutes for a response.

"Exceptional"

The property was clean and safe. Location was great, easy access to Roger’s Centre and the harbour. Public transportation is right outside the building. Comfortable beds. Lots of towels, all in good condition. I travelled with my family for leisure and would stay here again.

Was surprisingly quiet. Was very comfortable. Extra amenities like coffee filters, tea, coffee…even toothpaste, which we forgot. Felt safe in that area. Some of the fixtures need a little TLC, but did not take away from our stay there. Would have liked to been able to adjust the a/c to temps that we found comfortable, but again, did not take away from our time there.

The room itself is good. I got TOOOO many messages from them to check in. They should make the process easier than constant emails and different agents. It is a fair price for what it is.

"AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS"

In order to stay here I had to upload information 3 days ahead of time. I had no idea about this, and I did not receive an email notification. I did not receive a phone call or anything else. When I arrived at 10pm to check in, there was no reception, and no one would answer the phone. I had to scramble to find another hotel. They refused to refund me the 2 nights. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS

The information requested leading up to the stay was a bit worrisome (requesting pic of photo id and payment for damage deposit- although it is refundable), however check in instructions were clear, the property was clean and comfortable. We had no problem getting late check out. Would definitely stay here again.

We were there for 5 nights this August during their hot spells between 30-35 each day.. the air conditioner did not work and it was between 80-83 every day that we were there in the apartment. Global communicated through email, the first 2 days they responded, then they did nothing to solve the problem and didn’t answer my requests after that to fix it. The apartment was nice, but no pans for the oven, not sufficient utensils like simple spatula. The in suite washer and dryer was a bonus. We walked everywhere! The ball field was 15 minutes away, grocery store about 7. Felt like it was a safe area to be and the building was nice. The kids enjoyed the pool! We would stay again, but better communication is needed and having no air conditioning was ridiculous.

We checked into the property at 4:00 pm and when entering the apartment it was extremely muggy, hot and smelled of stale cigarettes. The walls, light switches and door knobs were absolutely filthy. It was obvious that the air conditioning was not working the thermostat read 80 degrees and the outside temperature was 31 with humidity making 37 degrees. It was unbearable in there. My husband suffers from severe sleep apnea and would not be able to spend any significant amount of time in there let alone sleep. I contacted the property right away through email and by phone. I was informed that the air conditioning was broken and that they were made aware of this from other guests. When asked when this would be fixed they said they did not know as it wasn’t part of the service they provided. I told them that we would not be staying for the reserved 3 days because of the issue with the air conditioning. I also was in contact with them over the course of 3 days prior to arrival as they required a damage deposit and extra fees for my children in order to be given the check in instructions. At no time did they mention anything about the air conditioning not working or provide alternate measures like fans/portable air conditioners in the apartment to alleviate this. I requested some form of compensation because they did not provide the amenities listed on the booking. They flat out refused to reimburse me anything for this booking that we could not use.
