Villa Los Mangles Boutique Hotel

La habitación/apartamento era increíble, muy limpia, cómoda y funcional. Cristina fue una anfitriona super atenta y agradable, además te dejan un bidón de agua potable lo que se agradece mucho. La distancia a la playa era de 3 minutos andando en linea recta.

Nos acribillaron los mosquitos:( pero es época de lluvias y justo los días anteriores fueron muy lluviosos, en ese sentido tuvimos mala suerte, no tiene mucho que ver con el alojamiento, pero tened en cuenta que el lugar está muy metido en la naturaleza.

Le wifi, il est très mauvais. (Mais peut-être pas si mal, tellement l’endroit est idyllique)

L’accueil était très bien, le personnel souriant et serviable, l’appartement est très bien situé et très fonctionnelle, nous recommandons !

El sitio era magnífico, y la atención de Cristina de 10. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Les petites pensées de notre hôte Cristina (serviettes de plage, sacs de plage, eau, recommandations, etc), l’emplacement est génial et c’est magnifique !

Everything was as expected, cozy, very clean, quiet, close to the beach, comfortable bed, nice kitchenette with all the basics needed and very good towels

Just not enough pressure in the wc

This is a beautiful little hotel about a block and a half from the beach (three minute walk and your in the ocean). AND a very short walk to restaurants, bars and beach clubs even though it is in a very peaceful area right at the edge of the natural reserve. We stayed at the Palapita del Amor room AND the Amistad room (review for both following): We stayed a few nights in the upstairs "Palapita del Amor" room which was absolutely amazing and could not recommend it enough. The room has spectacular 360 degree views half of which is to the Manglares jungle (and the ocean beyond) and the other half tree tops toward the ocean on the other side of the island. The space takes up all of the top floor (all to yourself) which has a huuge private terrace with comfy beach chairs, a small corner sofa space and the "bar" space with high top chairs. PLUS! Theres a wooden ladder which takes you one floor higher and though there is not much up there it does give you an even more amazing view AND there is a small hidden shower on one corner (very cool). Inside the room the open shower is very sexy plus there is a complete kitchen which is very useful for preparing small meals/breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this room. The LAST night we moved down to the "Amistad" room on the first floor. It is the smaller of all the rooms but was still a charming space. The bedroom opens up to a beautifully maintained garden. There is a very confortable hammock and table/chairs. Even though it is right by the entrance to the hotel it feels like your in your private little space away from everything in the world. The hotel is right at the edge of the protected Manglar jungle habitat so there is no more construction behind the hotel. Towards the beach it is a (timed) 3 minute walk to the waters edge and about a 10 minute walk to the "Holbox Letters" (a place for reference to the center of town).

Everything was absolutely wonderful. If I would be picky it would be about the mosquitoes, (we where warned) and you do need to bring repellent especially in the downstairs rooms.
