Comfort Inn Tayesta Motel

Good location, very easy to locate. The place is quiet if you like a good night rest.

I was a little sceptical when I opened the door to my room because the room itself looked like it was out of the 50's (the funny little telephone recess, the pull-cord lights, and the built-ins in the bedroom). However, I had to take that all back! The room was warm, the bed was comfortable, I had a tonne of space, and the shower pressure was insane! The whole space was beautifully clean and had no funky smells at all (good or bad). I also liked that the motel cat came to visit me when I was stuck working at the dining table all day :)

On the first night, I couldn't figure out how to turn the main light off. (It was one of the pull-cord switches that I noticed the next day)

Kitchen tap difficult to turn on and off!

We were advised we had been upgraded to a larger unit which was ideal for our family situation. The heating was on so the unit was so cosy. The owners went the extra mile by placing cardboard on our car window to prevent the frost taking hold overnight. What great service and very thoughtful.
