"Average Hotel; Nothing special. Breakfast is spartan and worse of all we had to get vouchers to it."

Average american hotel - there is nothing outstanding about it. Comfy beds, well groomed room.

the breakfast: just apples, 1 type of bread and bagels. Omelet was good but there is nothing beyound the average american breakfast.

"Older Hotel With Unpleasant Room Fragrance and Noise"

We stayed here after our flight to Detroit was significantly delayed causing us to miss our connecting flight to Seattle. Delta Airlines put us up, but I wished we had just paid for a hotel ourselves once we arrived at the Clarion. It was late at night and we were tired so we decided to make the best of it. We had a 25-minute wait for the shuttle, but the driver was friendly. Upon entering the room, we were overwhelmed by a strong fragrance that I can only assume was meant to cover up some other unpleasant odor. The room was clean, but this is an older hotel located at a busy intersection. We did not sleep well as we could hear the sound of traffic throughout the night. We could not get the tv to work, but a pleasant young man came to our room quickly and figured out the issue. We set our alarm to wake up early and get on the shuttle back to the airport even though our flight wasn't scheduled to leave for several hours and the hotel had offered meal vouchers for breakfast. We ended up having a lovely breakfast at the Westin located in the McNamara Terminal at DTW - they have their own TSA/Security area, so it's an easy in and out and totally worth it!

"Hooker Heaven!"

We missed a flight and had an overnight layover and the airline paid for the hotel. Upon arriving after a long day, we wanted to get a drink at the bar. In the bar sat 2 hookers, a pimp and loud and filthy rap music was playing. I got 2 mixed drinks to go for $40. Not a good atmosphere if you want to sell alcohol to travelers. I double bolted my door as I didn't feel too safe. Otherwise, the room was spacious and clean.
