The Old Dairy

It was clean and comfortable and served our purposes well. Lounge area was very comfortable with 2 large sofas and dining room table. Beds were comfortable but there was a lack of plug sockets in all 3 bedrooms.

No plug or washing up bowl in kitchen. When we rang the help number given and requested a bowl, we were told they would supply one the next day but they didn't. Nothing appeared during our stay. It was described as 'luxury accomodation' but decor was a bit tired. It was also described as having a walk in shower but this turned out to be a shower over the bath. Was a bit of a concern for one of our group. We had picked this property because of the walk in shower, amongst other factors.

The house itself was ideal, beds comfy and clean. Just could do with fixing the very creaky floor boards in the back bedroom and upstairs bathroom. Kitchen had very little utensil and crockery and could do with an uplift has the kitchen cupboard doors are peeling away. Overall was adequate for what we needed.

Very easy to access the property and parking right outside, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. The kitchen was well kitted out for cooking simple meals.

The property is a little run down, there's damage in some places, but it is all functional, clean, quiet and comfortable.

The kitchen cabinets were all damaged and peeling. Didn’t effect the use of the kitchen though :)

Location spot on for us, Plenty big enough for 3 of us with separate Bedrooms, Easy to get the Key, Good communications as we did have a problem on arrival,

We opened the front door to be hit with unbearable heat, The heating was left on all day flat out ,the problem was the heating dial was broken so we could not control it, Communication was excellent and we had someone with us to sort it in a very short time, Only one Thing ,the floor boards between the back bedroom and the bathroom were very noisy ,

Nice quiet location but close to centre. Was nice to have a house to ourselves, parking was also a big bonus. Check in was nice & easy.

Thought people were being abit dramatic about the creaky floorboards but they were right, weren’t a problem until your trying to be quiet as kids are asleep and they creek so loud even without moving 🙈 Could do with a little bit more attention to cleaning, light switches and door handles were quite dirty. Also some scissors in the kitchen would be handy!

Ease of location and access. Kitchen was clean and well appointed.

The beds were lumpy and springs could be felt - we had to turn all our mattresses and pad them out with towels. The pillows were lumpy. No bedside table lamps just glaring bright lightbulbs - the small room was like a prison cell. We chose this over a Premier Inn but next time we will pay more for the Premier Inn as this proved to be false economy.
