The Hanford Hotel, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Clean hotel. Exceptional staff, especially the guy at the front desk on Sat, June 13th. They front desk gave the 8 of us water bottles upon arrival. Breakfast was good - eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, hard boiled eggs, milk and cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, coffee and juice. The pool was nice and refreshing. It is located downtown and is walking distance to shops. Lots of parking. Beds were good. Room was nice. 2 queens, desk, fridge and microwave. Towels are nice and thick. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided.

The a/c unit in room 303 didn't blow as strong as our other room 301, but cooled the room eventually. The towels the front desk provides for the pool are like half towels and thin..

It was easy to get to and had video on parking lot

для відгуку: I liked it. It was quiet and in a good location. It was light and clean. Big room and bathroom . A really good sushi restaurant was nearby. The chocolate muffin at breakfast was good.

I booked 2 rooms under my name and was charged for both, but when we arrived, they only had one room ready for us. We had to wait about 15 minutes while they called to confirm the second room, even though I had a confirmation. In the end, we got both rooms as expected, so it was okay. However, if it was during a busy season and all rooms were booked, this could have been a bigger issue. The staff should pay more attention to reservations. The pool was nice, even though it was small, but it was dirty, and I didn’t like that. I wish they had a hot tub too. For breakfast, they didn’t have toast bread, but overall it was still okay.

The staff at this property is the star. Friendly, helpful, accommodating. Housekeeping impeccable. Walking distance to at least 4 restaurants.

The coffee in the breakfast room is atrocious. The room coffee is definitely better and okay for room coffee.

Loved the downtown location. The staff was helpful and friendly. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. There was a good breakfast included with various options, very happy with that. Complimentary waters and beers also at check in.

It was a bit warm, the A/C had been completely off in the room on a 100° day until we came in and turned it on. The hallway and elevator were very warm as well. My husband had to find the hallway A/C unit himself and turn it on. The room did eventually cool down. We had to prop the bathroom door open in order to cool the bathroom down as there seemed to be no vent in the bathroom to cool it down.
