The Evenlode Rooms at Firehouse Oxford

Excellent staff

The room was not deluxe as we had booked. It was shabby and only half decorated. Undercoat had been applied but the final coat had only been put on one and a half of the walls! There appeared to be water damage above the radiator as the plaster was peeling off the wall.The bathroom smelt faintly of sewage and the general condition was very poor.

Friendly staff, clean room and location was perfect.

Biscuits rather than cereal bar please.

Lovely little hidden gem - comfy beds and fab shower. Added bonus, it has a pub/restaurant and the food was lovely

Excellent hotel! The rooms were lovely, the bar downstairs was exceptional and friendly. Buses outside for Oxford. Will definitely come back.

We had a mid week stay, so the venue was quiet, does host weddings, and could be noisier at the weekends, Note - Does not currently do breakfast at all. I wasnt sure either way when booking, but there is an awesome venue 300 yards away which was handy

Clean towels. It had a kettle.

Loud staff party until midnight. So loud you could hear the lyrics to every song- whether you wanted to or not. After that - just the loud road traffic . A blessing really after the music.
