Basic but clean and very good value for the money. Excellent position and friendly staff

my stay was ok comfortable room for the two nights. the tea and coffee provided but once milk run out no more milk provided. they don't do breakfast but their is a good cafe up the road

Very comfy bed. Hotel downstairs looks beautiful, upstairs lay out that of an 80's retirement home. Sink blocked, toilet leaked. Bag of 'white substance' in top drawer! Thought reception staff was the builder.

Known this place over 50 years through different ownerships. Clean, quiet, comfortable. I don't need anything else.

Small, quiet, friendly hotel. If you’re looking for a clean and safe budget hotel (no amenities), then this one is good value for money.

Although it was a cheap deal room was very basic. No privacy in the bathroom I had to put a towel on the window for privacy, no milk for tea on first night (did not notice until later), door could not be locked from inside and could have been forced open from outside, both mornings cleaners knocked to see when I was leaving room as there was no card to put on door (plus no outside knob to put it on). Tap dripped constantly and bathroom window had to be propped open for air. Clearly their worst room (although very cheap) felt very vulnerable as a lone woman.

Everything was under the average, but the mattresses was really bad. They are very, very old.

We chose this property because of the information given that a full breakfast was included in the price.We were informed that there was no breakfast and hadnt been for at least six years.I told the staff that this is misleading a nd was one of the main reasons we chose this Hotel.The staff were apologetic, stating it wasn't their fault,thet just work there.I suggested that they remove any mention of Breakfaston any sites ,as we had to visit a Cafe at extra costs to us.

Room was basic but clean and very friendly and always happy to help 24 hour reception very pleasant we enjoyed our stay and would definitely use again

Room and bed were ok but no frills. Don’t expect a lie-in as the screeching seagulls won’t let you. A very basic hotel in an area that’s clearly very rundown.
