The Glenwood Hotel

Managed to Park free on the ride outside, Which helped. The Service from front desk was good, showed us to the room and was very polite. Room was basic but clean bedding and Coffee & Tea facilities supplied. The Bathroom however was disappointing, the shower could have done with a better clean and looked like it could do with being replaced, very old and dated.

We booked this hotel as a last resort and it was the cheapest we could find at 145 for 2 nights. We arrived at the hotel it looked a little tired but we kept an open mind. Check in was nice and easy and reception staff was friendly. When we got in our room you can see it was tired we had a wardrobe be with a broken draw you could see cracks all around the room. What was the worst was the bed it was a metal bed and although it was comfy it squeaked so bad with every slight movement. We didnt sleep much at all. I did mention it to reception but they just made an inappropriate comment. We then attempted the shower and the shower was full of limescale so the water sprayed from all different directions. The bathroom door wasnt great either. Having cleaned hotels for a living in the past i know what the standards should be and that wasnt it.

Our room was fantastic for the price we paid, very little noise at night. Friendly staff who were very helpful. Only problem was that we were never told where the breakfast room or bar was? I felt silly asking.

Owners and staff were very friendly, I had a great stay. Ideal for a weekend away. Parking on the street is free, and I managed to park right outside the front doors. Room was clean, a bit old fashioned, but cannot complain at all for the money. Would definitely stay again

Stayed last year and enjoyed our stay. So rebooked for a couple of nights this year staff are friendly and our room was just what we needed it was clean and had plenty of towels and lovely hot shower.

Was quiet, quite clean and had a TV in room. No bath just shower. Had to give keys to desk every time we left hotel.

Value for money -compared to other hotels for the time in question - reasonable and affordable. It is well located. Downside- No replacement towels or cleaning during stay. -Parking difficult -Like many other similar establishments in the area does not offer any kind of breakfast even french breakfast. -Staff most welcoming and the accommodation was ideal for my purposes.

Property was exactly as advertised. Super convenient and straightforward
