Comfort Suites Jacksonville Airport

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport and their park and fly option. It’s also close to a number of restaurants. I worried about the noise but our room was surprisingly quiet. It was also very clean and the shower had good water pressure. The couch and the bed were comfortable and we both had a good night’s sleep. Pillows are small but they worked. I had reason to call the hotel several times and I was always treated professionally and got answers to my questions. This was really helpful when the airport closed due to the weather. The young man working the desk when we arrived was very personable and helpful as well. Our shuttles to and from the airport were timely and the drivers were delightful. We enjoyed talking with them during the ride. The downsides to our stay included a strong smell of pot/cigarettes that was sometimes in the hallway. Fortunately it disbursed quickly and wasn’t in our room. The microwave placement on the fridge seemed unstable and I wouldn’t be comfortable using it. Last, the daily price we were told for the park and fly parking was different when we went to pay. I’d recommend confirming it and paying when checking in.

Bed broken. Had to manipulate how to sleep on it without tipping it over. Furniture dirty, carpet stained. The only nice thing was the bathroom. Cannot believe this is rated 8.2 on your site!

Hotel was ok, but smelled like mold.

Clean room and very friendly staff!

Whole hotel smells like smoke. There are numerous stains all over the floor, and the tub is disgusting.

Location is good, but I missed breakfast. Manager gave me a snack.

No drapes to cover window in a first floor room. One could see through the sheers.

Room looked clean except for an old coffee pack still in the coffeemaker, but the room smelled horrible. Went to the front desk to make sure I wouldn't be charged for the marijuana smell. They had no deodorizer. Next morning for breakfast they had no water, water fountain by bathroom was dirty, $2 for water at the front desk, no creamer for coffee, no sugar substitute.

First of all, called the hotel for airport pick up which they advertise. Called 5 times no one answered so took an Uber. Front desk worker was not apologetic at all. The hotel is very dark and dreary looking,inside and out. Just obvious no one is taking care of this hotel in the public areas. On a positive note, the room was clean. I was traveling solo and really did not feel safe in the area. The hotel seemed mostly empty which added to this feeling. I had read the reviews before I booked and most were good, but after seeing and staying here I really don’t understand why. I couldn’t wait to leave in the morning.

We stayed in a different Comfort Inn that was fantastic, so were expecting the same. This one wasn't bad, but it had a funny smell to it that made us think people were not obeying the No Smoking signs. There were also No Pets signs everywhere, yet when waiting for the elevator, a woman came out of her room with a massive, very poorly behaved dog. Our room smelled bad too, but luckily we happened to have a can of air freshener in our car. The breakfast was what we were expecting though, and it was conveniently located next to a couple restaurants, which was good since we couldn't find a room service menu in the room.
