Quality Inn Jacksonville near I-72

It was so clean smelling so good

Staff was nice, breakfast was decent.

The property is run down and the price did not match the quality. The room smelled moldy musty, back of door in bathroom was filthy, things were rusty. The hotel needs either a refresh or a big price decrease.

We walked in about 10:00 p.m. and the marijuana smoke was quite thick in the lobby yet there were signs saying it was smoke free and I had to sign a paper agreed to pay $150 cleaning fee for smoking. I was shocked that the front desk clerk did not want my ID when I checked in, just the credit card. The next morning breakfast was extremely basic and minimal and I told the gentleman at the front desk about the thick marijuana smoke. He asked what time it was, I told him 10:00 p.m., and he said oh well and I stopped listening. Later that same day my credit card that I used at check-in was compromised with over a dozen unauthorized charges. I had not used this card anywhere else. This place was sketchy to say the least

Location good, just off the highyway.

Smoking area should be 50 ft from the building.
