Comfort Suites Richmond

Overall fine for a quick overnight. Temp. Control was questionable, we boiled all night, but clean and very comfy bed.

Pool could have opened before 10am

Definitely needs an update! The 'greeting room' with those outdated chairs gave me a negative view...very clean. Comfortable bed, .. Hopefully an update will result on a bright, welcoming feel......

The website said there was a hot tub and there wasn’t. That was one of the main reasons we chose to stay there

I have stayed in many Comfort Inns and this was shabbier than most. The sink faucet was only a drizzle, not really enough to brush your teeth. I did not take a shower so I don't know about it.

Did not have hot tub as advertised. Room seemed nice but could have been cleaned better. Some pieces were damaged in the room. Staff was amazing. Not all food was not what was advertised. I didn't feel like the price was worth it and debated on cancelling our stay and finding a new place. Needs an update.

We stayed at this hotel the weekend of February 28th, 2025. This was the filthiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Not only did one of our friends find bed bugs in their room, but our room had bright red blood on the bedspread and the bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. To top it off, the staff had the audacity to bring my daughter, her friends, and their mothers cleaning supplies, a broom and dust pan, asking THEM to clean the common/dining area! I guess you’ll continue to have a filthy hotel when you expect your paying guests to double as your cleaning crew. Not only will Inever stay at this hotel again, I’ll never stay with this entire chain of hotels.

Tina checked us in at the desk. She was very nice and made us feel welcome.

It was close to event we were attending.

Our room was gross. Holes in sheets. Broken curtains. Smelled bad. Tub was rusty. Remote didn’t work. The dresser was broken. Literally cracked on the one side.
