"I request a refund please."

On October 11, 2025 when I checked in, I was told by the Sonesta Customer Service guy the payment to Booking.com was declined so I gave the him another credit card to pay for our stay. I have discovered Booking.com/Sonesta received the first payment $168.93 and the $173.59 payment I made when I checked in. I paid for one day twice.

Being charged twice and not being refunded. No response to my request for a refund.

"Cheap and you see why. Also my air conditioner in my room barely functioned at all."

The staff was nice and the price was good.

The "breakfast" they offered was without a doubt the most pathetic I have ever seen. I travel quite a bit and this could barely be called a complimentary breakfast. I was not late to breakfast and there was essentially nothing available. The owners mother and father were sitting in the breakfast area and she came over when I asked if there was any more food available. She walked in the back and came out with a couple of muffins and some bread and proceeded to add some bread with her bare hands that she did not wash to the bin. Needless to say I skipped the whole thing.
