Courtyard Chicago St. Charles

Nice location

Stay was fine. Friendly and Clean. Mattress was not very comfortable. Small suggestion: they could easily add shelves - in shower room and under the sink to be more helpful. No place to set clothes or toiletries when showering because toilet and tub are separate from sink. There is plenty of space in the shower room corner for a stool or a shelf.

Nice Hotel in a good location. The room that we had was next to a generator that pushed out a high level of noise. Other than that it was a good stay. The food was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

The property was in a great location, close to shopping and dining. The staff was incredibly pleasant and friendly. The rooms were a little outdated, and there were some imperfections in my bathroom, such as a cracked shower and tiles. Other than that, it was a good stay for my first time in St. Charles.

Excellent property and staff, the only thing that held back a 5 star rating was the very high pet fee. Would recommend this hotel with that exception.

Great place!

My experience would have been very positive had it not been for the front desk associate yelling at me and my family as we entered the hotel. My child urgently needed to use the restroom and were moving to the elevator when the associate felt the need to interupt her conversation with the customer at the desk to yell into the lobby "Do you have your room key!?" as if I don't belong here at this hotel or something. If I didn't have my room key, I would have come to the desk and said as much; this clearly was a "papers please" situation. Why would an associate feel the need to yell at any customer (a parent with children in hand no less) to attempt to embarrass or whatever her intent was? Completely unprofessional. I've spent 8 nights in a Marriott in the last month; shame her actions have to blemish it.

My card was charged twice and due to the conscience, Becca made it up and I am happy how she dealt with the matter despite my card took 2 weeks to refund the charge. Big shout out!
