Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Coral Springs

Half the tv channels were non existent. Our toilet was clogged for all of one of the days of our trip and we were told there was no plunger on premises. There was one cart for gathering our things for the entire hotel. Fridge didn’t work. Do I need to say more?

Everyone was very professional from the start, this is my place for now visiting family and friends.

I went to this hotel to check in and provided my name to the front desk associate. she informed me that she did not see my reservation, so I give her my confirmation number. she again said she did not see my reservation and suggested I call Marriott. I asked if my reservation was for this hotel, and she confirmed it was, but she could not locate it in the system and that I need to contact Marriott directly. While I was on the side handling a personal call, the manger that was the agent at the desk said to me that I have a bad attitude and needed to fixed it. I asked her what did I do or said to be perceived that way, but she did not provide an answer. I am still waiting for clarification. Later, I was asked to provide my form I question why it was needed if my reservation could not be located. she responded that it would be required when I returned at 3pm. I requested to speak to the manager and she responded proudly that she was the manager. during our argument a young lady walked in and asked about her job application she asked the young lady if she remember who she give the application too and her answer was no the unprofessional front desk manager replied she I don't know who has it and I don't know what to tell you. It is unfortunate that people bring their personal life to the job and projected on to a paying guest she is not professional and should not be MANAGER or serving guest. However I took her advice and called a Marriott reported her, was refunded and stayed some where else safe for my family.

The room and the customer service were very good.

Just little things, like there were no cups for coffee in the room and the sugar and cream packets were very old. The cream was no longer powder. It was a solid chunk.

Quiet stay with a good location, but front desk service needs improvement. Waited several minutes to check in with no staff present, and another guest had to call out to get help. Room was clean, but bathroom had paint stains. Check-out was smooth and quick. Decent overall, but service could be better.
