Courtyard by Marriott Lansing

Run away from this Courtyard by Marriott! Went to use the bathroom and there was dried urine and pubic hair on the seat itself!

Hotel is very dated -did not offer breakfast

It's...meh.

When we booked this property, we knew being a Courtyard by Marriott it should be a quality location, with clean rooms and amenities at a reasonable price. We spend almost all our hotel stays at Marriott branded properties, with the majority at Courtyard. We stayed for 2-nights in Oct 2024. When we arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming but also stressed based on a sold-out weekend due to local events nearby. We were told there was a hot breakfast in the morning for $6.00 (Eggs, sausage, and hash browns) and free Starbucks coffee. When arriving at our King Suite, we opened the pull-out couch for our son, and there was trash under the couch, no bedding to make up the bed and the mattress was dirty. We went to the front desk to retrieve fresh bedding and pillows. Once back in our room, the TV in the King room didn’t work and found used wash clothes in the dresser drawers. The next morning we went down to the front area to find coffee and breakfast and the front desk staff said “They were supposed to be open until 11am but the guy quit this morning after a couple of hours. You’re lucky I pulled the coffee craft from behind there while I could!” We woke up on our second day, and there was no breakfast option or coffee. At this point, we got ready quickly and went to find brunch somewhere else, and we were very happy to leave. We have stayed at Courtyard properties for years, and this has to be the worst one we stayed at in nearly 20 years of family/work travel around Michigan and the U.S. & Canada. The value of what we paid is for sure not worth what we received.

Tv had a line through it no free breakfast sheets smelled bad

Booked an executive suite for my family of 4. The pullout couch was a twin, meaning the room only slept 3. There were no sheets nor pillows for the pullout, either. Eve at the front desk was very kind, but was only able to provide a mattress pad as a sheet, plus a blanket and pillow. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor, I slept in the pullout, and our kids shared the bed. Very disappointing, as well as lack of continental breakfast.
