Courtyard by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

We had a family emergency and needed to check in during the middle of the night. Adrien was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. He made all the difference during a stressful time, and provided the comfortable lodging we needed.

It was quiet, the first room was poorly cleaned, rest room smelled and when we used the heating it smelled like burnt oil. Front office gave us a cleaner room

upon checking out at 7 AM, i mentioned to the woman who was helping me the coffee maker did not work. She could care less. You should have free coffee in the lobby for early risers .

The first room I received was a handicap room with low bed and closet. Called front desk and they were able to assign me a regular room which was more appropiate.

Online they make it seem like it’s a beautiful spacious beautiful hotel …well its not the rooms are small and so is the bathroom area I paid $300 for one night ..not worth it I’m sorry. Snack area was not fully stocked not enough options …maybe not for a family stay it’s more for couples

I would 100% recommend this hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly. Walking through the halls every single one of them greets you with a smile and a hello. :) The room was very clean. My room had a balcony overlooking the pool which was a really nice unexpected bonus. After I checked out, I locked my keys in my rental car while loading my suitcases. Miguel at the front desk was AMAZING. He was very calming and supportive. He looked up the rental car number and assisted me in calling. He also looked up the phone number to my office so I could communicate why I would be late. He offered me water. This could have been a totally stressful experience, but he saved the day. Thanks Miguel!!!

Danny managed the Bistro orders with patience and the food and wine were great. Pool is nice and clean & outside court with tv and fireplace is cozy
