Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland

Great location. Very nice room with a comfortable bed. Two closets, one had coffee machine and fridge, both had lights that came on when opened. Nice bar in the evening and good breakfast in the morning.

Be aware that the streetcar runs by in morning. So, no sleeping in unless you bring earplugs (maybe something the hotel could provide?). No coffee stirrers in packet and only one packet of coffee creamer. Only two paper cups.

The staff was extremely accommodating when I needed support with any of the rooms.

What a great time we had! This place is awesome! My 17 and 9 year old have expressed Hyatt is their favorite hotels to stay at now. This was the best one yet! My oldest expressed how he really liked the concrete inside the room. All the photos listed were less than .6 miles away. We walked to the waterfront and got everything on the way back to the hotel.

It was amazing.

I didn’t like the room without coffee table and it would help with more space given the two beds.

We stayed at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Portland for a long weekend of exploring the city and enjoying Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs. The hotel is a great base as it’s centrally located in downtown Portland, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and transit. Check in was smooth and friendly and the lobby has that signature Hyatt Centric eclectic vibe of modern, colorful, and casual. Our room was slightly compact, which is pretty on par for the brand, but it was comfortable and good value for the area. There is a lobby restaurant and bar which we only stopped in for drinks, but the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Overall this is a solid choice when visiting Portland.

Great location, amazing staff and clean rooms! I am so happy we stayed here! If I go back to Portland I'd wanna stay again!

We didn't get a complimentary breakfast. I guess we didn't spend enough money for the room.

I was taken aback by the unfinished concrete on the ceiling and concrete on the floor. I felt like I was camping in a construction site. Not very appealing aesthetically.

The staff was incredible! They were friendly and super accommodating.
