"Always a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Centric!"

Closed to everything you’d need for a fun 2 day stay. Near amazing food choices, cocktail bars, dive bars, shopping. It’s great!

I appreciate the down pillows, but they are some of the most uncomfortable flattest pillows I’ve ever used.

Location worked well for us. The hotel is on the edge of the Pearl District. Easy walk to the riverfront & tourist attractions. But equidistant to Deschutes, Backwoods brewing & a couple others. Easy walk to Battle Creek Winery by Brown's and the neighborhoods that way. Room was solid. Comfy bed. Good water pressure. We didn't hear our neighbors. Liked the desk arrangement which was very functional & huge swivel chair that was actually nice to use - unlike so many. The blackout curtain separating the bathroom area from bedroom area was useful. Ceiling is unfinished cement board and room does echo a bit. But the positives outweigh. Staff was all very friendly & they seem proud of the hotel which was refreshing. Late checkout accommodated no globalist upgrade, but breakfast at Covet was outstanding. Shockingly good. Like I'd actually come for breakfast if I wasn't staying here good. Local Trailhead Coffee roasters was phenomenal for drip ($4 bottomless??!!) but the afogatto was heaven. Eggs Benedict had a delicious light fresh sauce. Ham, cheese, eggs croissant with quinoa salad was huge buttery mouthwatering. Breakfast burrito with steak was as large as a child's head. Brioche french toast & veggie hash...exceptionally high quality ingredients. We delighted in eating our way through the menu over our visit. We'd recommend any and all of it. This will be our Portland hotel from here on out for sure.
