"DO NOT BOOK! HORRIBLE STAFF!"

Please do not book this hotel. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. They will add charges after your reservation is booked, kick you out for no reason, and will not give you a refund. The staff should all undergo mandatory hospitality training immediately.

Do NOT stay at this hotel! Save yourself the time and money. Front desk staff is unprofessional and money hungry. Have hidden fees that are not explained nor written upon initial check-in. Both front desk employees need to be educated on proper customer service as they lack understanding of how to properly conduct business and also need education and training on hospitality.

While this is not a cushy "5-star" hotel, it is definitely a GREAT value, in a convenient location to my daughter, very clean, cute appointments, good coffee in the room (I'm a coffee snob), and the most comfortable bed- I slept through the night for the first time in years! I will definitely stay again the next time I visit Houston.

Horrible experience. Had to check out after arriviving very late and only staying a few hours of a 3 night stay. Roaches, hair, dirty sheets, and broken door. Couldn't get any refund from the hotel or expedia for 2 different disgusting rooms.

This was the worst place I've ever stayed. We booked 3 nights and showed up very late the first night so we had no other option than to stay until morning. There were roaches, alive and dead, dirty sheets, and hair from previous guests in the tub and sink. The bathroom door didn't even latch. I have photos, but there isn't an option to upload them in this review. We checked out as soon as the sun came up and told the front desk why we were leaving, and they wouldnt do a refund for the remaining 2 nights because it was booked through expedia. They said we had to get the refund through expedia. We contacted expedia and they said it was up to the hotel. The charges on my card are from expedia, not the hotel, so they could refund me. I was traveling for family medical reasons, and booked this hotel through expedia because I trusted them in an area i was unfamiliar with. Obviously the reviews are fake and expedia isn't as trustworthy as I expected. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS INN!!!

"Clean, good value, right area"

Quick solo trip. I thought was fine. Room was not fancy (didn't expect it to be for $77), but it was clean, and pretty new. It was a motel (door accessed parking lot) in a close to downtown area. You need to be more cautious than being in a more secure 5* hotel of course, but I had no problems, rooms were quiet and parking lot fine. I wouldn't recommend this place to my 20 year old daughter or wife just for those security concerns, but at end of day, for a single guy, it was clean, Direct TV, at the right price and right location for me (near Galleria). I'd stay there again.

"2 Dat stay"

Stayed at the Grand Villa Inn in Houston, Texas, for two nights. While the location is convenient, right off the expressway, I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. Though the room had been updated, the bed linen and towels were in horrible condition, with visible stains. It’s clear they need to upgrade both. The cleanliness also left something to be desired—especially around the baseboards, which need more attention. The hotel is making some improvements, but they still have a long way to go. I also had a frustrating experience with check-in. I arrived an hour early and was told I needed to pay a $10 fee to check in early, even though I planned to check out well before the 11 a.m. checkout time. After waiting in the parking lot for 30 minutes, the front desk staff finally allowed me to check in without the fee, but the whole process felt unnecessary. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend it? Also no.
