"Does what it says on the tin "

I stayed there for 8 days while working locally. It's conveniently located and was cheap compared to some. Rooms and communal areas are worn, but the rooms were clean enough and it was cheap

"Good budget hotel"

Good budget hotel. The reception was manned 24 hours a day which was really great to see. You don’t get that in most hotels now so it’s nice to see a hotel with real people on the reception at all times. Check in was quick and easy. Did check in online before I arrived and just had to get my key from reception when I got there. Room basic but clean. Will definitely recommend and return

"Improved since last visit"

Have used this hotel a few time when either heading north or sound, and it’s been in some need of TLC. Was great to see fresh lick of paint on the walls, actual black out curtains and a larger TV. All it needs is a new carpet and the too. Would be perfect.

Lady at front desk Julie very helpful and good respect helped us through everything we ask for if I owned a business she would be top of my list I really think this lady should be giving a promotion or something she is really good at her job highly recommend

"Days in M 74 north of Lockerbie "

Brilliant, even an enjoyable bath, beds and pillows so good after a 7 hrs trip here, everyone friendly and helpful. Welcome break supper, Chinese or burgers just ok but breakfasts great.

"Clean and functional"

Absolutley fine for a mid journey stopover. Room was clean, the beds were comfy enough. Tea and coffee making facilities as standard. The only downside was that the hotel doesn't have a lift, and as someone with an intermittent knee injury, I prefer the choice of stairs or lift when not on the ground floor.
