As always very good service, clean rooms, polite and friendly staff and good value. We will certainly use again.

Rooms were clean bright and tidy checking was quick and easy, breakfast was available from the cafe next door. We requested a crib for the grand daughter and this was set in the room before we arrived.

Staff are always good and rooms are always clean. Good price too. We will return. Col

Car park charge is disappointing

Great nights rest And reception even printed my paperwork out for my work the following day . Like home from home. Would definitely stay again everyone from reception to the room was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend this hotel if caught out last minute.

Needed a bed for the night in the middle of a long drive home. Handy stop right off the motorway. Can't comment on the services at the main service station as only went into the hotel to sleep then left early next morning. I was taking an electric vehicle home - fast AC and rapid DC charging available outside the hotel. Rooms were dated but clean. Biggest issue I could see for a couple or family is that I only counted 3 plugs sockets in the room, none of which were by the bed. This could be in issue if you have lots of devices to charge. My stay was fine but I think this is down to a quiet time of year. The floors were quite creaky and doors were not soft close so the few people who were staying I heard some quite loud door closures. I feel that on a busy night this hotel would be quite noisy. There was a poster for breakfast but I could see nowhere that this could be and was not offered or asked about it at check in. Not an issue as I was leaving very early next day. Shower was fantastic with super hot water and great pressure.

The wild Storm curtailed my journey home last night Wild winds had caused havoc in on A74M with overturned vehicles and fallen trees and branches everywhere Looking on Booking.com I was amazed to see this place for the astounding rate of £35.99 for a night with parking Given the weather I also thought the adjoining services would offer refreshments? On arrival I parked and noticed that my phone had no signal and had drive a couple of miles to get a Vodafone service. Checking online I noticed the weather had brought down mobile masts so assumed this was the problem I returned to the carpark and entered the services only to discover the the weather had prevented staff arriving at work and the only offering was cold pasty from W H Smiths I checked in and was pleasantly greeted and enquired if there was Wifi connectivity only to be told the the inclement conditions had cut the Wifi Signal Marooned I went to my room which was clean, warm and tidy and retired early with my pasty ! The morning broke with bright weather and light splashing of snow and checked out and set off homewards For the weary traveler this establishment is perfectly located and pleasantly hospitable. Especially given the tariff although I suspect this was so low given the motorway restrictions and services all but closed Even at triple the price this place would have and perfectly amicable Well Done

Arrived and was greeted by a delightful receptionist who was both efficient and very friendly. Room cleaned to a good standard. Handy for food from the service station. Excellent price for an overnight stay and I would consider using again when visiting the area.

Excellent value for money for 2 adults 2 kids stay 1 night at £37. Can’t complain
