Days Inn by Wyndham Abington M74

Usedul stop off on our way from Gloucester to West Scotland however felt very ripped off by hotels dot dom as paid over £90 for a room that was advertised at reception for half the price plus to add insult to injury we were charged £5 for parking overnight when hotels dot com stated it was included. The hotel is ok at best & bed was comfy however the whole hotel is dated & needs a good up date/revamp. This is a £40 room at best almost a place you'd rent by the hour!!

I had unfortunately booked the wrong date but fortunately there was one room left, which wasn't accessible. We took it anyway but were then informed that the accessible rooms were not in fact totally accessible; they still had a shower over bath. I asked why were they sold as "accessible" then? Anne, who was very helpful on Reception did not know why. I did try to get into the bath for a shower but was impossible. Even a walk-in shower would have been better. I am a wheelchair user that can walk very small distances...check before you book! I was refunded for the other room, as it was not totally accessible. Everything else was great; room very clean and comfortable, view from room was beautiful, staff excellent, and food at the service station next door was fab, esp. the Chinese food.

Overnight stay to break up a longer journey. Convenient (just off M74), clean amd reasonably priced. Only downside was lack of free parking but was only £5 for overnight isnt too bad

The staff at this hotel are absolute stars and will go out of their way to help you in anyway they can. Particular mention goes to Julie on nightshift who was such a diamond helping with my disabled partner. Also mention for Cameron who looked after my partner when I had to leave her in reception to go to fetch a hire car- he was great helping me out with the admin of our stay. The building itself could maybe do with a bit of a refresh and there is a step on the front door to the hotel that is a bit tricky for wheelchairs. Its just a shame that the age of the building means that not all of the rooms are wheelchair accessible. Regardless, the staff go out of their way to help in any way they can, the rooms are all kept very clean. The rooms at the back look out over fields and is a wonderful view to wake up to in the morning with the rook & crows nests in the trees as well

Perfect place for an overnight with a dog between Bristol and Inverness. Very clean.

This hotel was much better than I expected. Days Inn is hit or miss - this one's a winner. The room was large, clean, comfortable and quiet. Even though the car park was very busy, we had no problem finding a place to park. Parking is free when staying at the hotel, just register your vehicle when you check in. No complaints from us.

Cheap and cheerful, and ideal on the journey.

Used this hotel for a stop over on route up to Glasgow while working away. It’s in the middle of nowhere, with lack of anything around. But the room was clean and comfortable. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable when I was looking to go get something to eat
