Howard Johnson by Wyndham Toronto Downtown West

No parking close by. But great walking distance to exhibition grounds

The air conditioning was all but nonexistent. There was no hot water in the bathroom sink.

Sure this hotel's rooms' condition is a little shabby and the neighborhood is a little on the seedy side, but for the price I paid (in comparison to most hotels relatively close to Toronto city center), I really can't complain. The room he all the basics I needed, including a coffee maker and comfortable bed, and the location right next to the streetcar stop was very convenient for a direct ride downtown. My room was small, but actually a bit bigger than the typical business hotel in Japan (size is always a relative thing) and the bathroom was actually considerably less shabby than the room itself. It seems that only the bathroom must have been renovated. No real complaints from me though - I was quite satisfied with my stay at this Howard Johnson's.

Terrible. Should have spent the extra money to stay downtown. Room was NOTHING like shown on the website. Overcharged from Expedia quote. NO parking available. Had to park blocks away in a public lot, ended up with a parking ticket. Will NEVER recommend this hotel.

The Room is old and dirty and the carpet are really run down needs changing and renovation.

We had no issues with our stay. Room was small but clean. Bathroom was new and clean. Breakfast was adequate. Served several juices and bagels, cereal, waffles, fruit. Only real big issue was parking. Ok space to drop luggage but had to park several blocks away and pay to park as well.

The room was rundown. Window and curtains would not fully close. Wifi and tv were not working.

Nice having a McDonalds next door. Good location for Budwieser stage shows.
