Comfort Inn & Suites Perry National Fairgrounds Area

Very disapointed. We booked this hotel online and there was no mention of it being under renovation . We were told by hotel staff that the area they put us in had already been renovated but this room had two entrances , one from the parking lot which was nearly blocked by a old table , the door lock was malfunctioning and took several attempts to unlock, the door was very old and looks like it has been painted over several times. The other door leads direcly into the hallway which was littered with used furniture and stained mattresses . The room has new vinyl flooring and furnishings but the bathroom doesn’t look like it’s been touched in many years . From the mold on the tub to the cracked and painted over tile, the door which is badly beaten up and the outlet/switch covers which have yellowed with age. The lobby and breakfast area were most likely renovated years ago due to the furniture being worn, scratched and nicked up , the breakfast area cabinets laminate was peeling in areas . The breakfast offerings were of normal variety but the hot offeings which were eggs sausage and biscuits had been microwaved. In my opinion this is a $75 hotel but we were charged $115 for two queen beds , we are glad that we didn’t pay the $140 they wanted for a king room

The breakfast was better then expected

The room was freshly remodeled (131) opened to the hallway and parking lot. Breakfast was hot and the lady working it was friendly.

The room was newly renovated and very nice. However they were currently completing renovation in other rooms around us, the hall ways were crowded with building material and it was very loud during the day when we were trying to nap from working late. The desk attendant in the afternoon was great and the breakfast attendant made the stay worth it. The breakfast was small but great and hot. The desk attendant on night shift could definitely yse some more training, he didnt know how to check in a hotels.com customer and was requiring a lot of extra things from me in a kinda huffy manner.

The property was under construction which we were not made aware of . All the tubs had mold in them. The air conditioning ststem had a funky odor. ISo all of that was frustrating. Thirty of us stayed here for an out of state family wedding. So we had no choice but to stay. The one good thing was the breakfast.

Decent but a little dirty and had an odor in the room. Older furnishings and a little dark. Needs a deep Clean and updating.
