Best hotel in Gainesville- great staff and service and amazing location.

You don’t stay here because you want to but because it is convenient for a university visit. The hotel is tired and begging for a renovation. Rooms are old and bleak. Bedding is poor. Simply put there is nothing pleasant about this hotel. One would be better served at a cheaper dump

Our stay at Hilton was average. The location was great and very close to the UF campus. The service was great. I feel the hotel is older. This is fine but I do feel the hotel needs some updates. Our room was comfortable and enough space but the bathroom needed some work. And I feel the bathroom could have been cleaner. Over all stay was fine.

My room went 4 days without getting cleaned, or trash picked up, or towels replaced. I had to call and text to get service, and even then, my room wasn’t serviced until after 6pm. I initiated room cleaning at check-in, but that was ignored. And even after having to call and text, you would think my room would be cleaned the following day - NOPE. Hotel is also outdated. Phone app barely works with the locks. Everything but the lobby is old.

Great staff intake. Really sizeable room. Beds were soft and comfortable.

Room wasn’t cleanest. Refrigerator didn’t work and no continental breakfast.

No clock in the room. Nothing. Not a great hotel, im disappointed that I stayed there.

This is an embarrassment of a property to be a flagship Hilton. Run down property in need of maintenance and repair. Mold in the shower, stained sheets (blood?), and major mold problem in the dining room. Tried to change the room but the Hilton employee wanted to come in our room to check out our complaints before changing our room. At 9:30 at night and showing him pictures - there was no way we were letting him in! The tables in the dining room are damaged - so very run down. 15 minutes to wait for a fruit plate with only 2 other people in the restaurant - we finally had to ask for the fruit. Just poor all around. Called the manager, left a message, no returned call. Save your money for another property in Gainesville.
