"Great location. No breakfast."

Great location. We chose this location because of proximity to the Disney parks. It was an easy 20 minute walk each time.Friendly staff. Only negative was the lack of a breakfast which was advertised.

"Great for a short Disney trip"

Clean, spacious, free parking and walkable to Disney. Would stay here again. No free breakfast as some sites said, but they have coffee. Helpful staff. The walk was clean and safe but took about 10-15 min.

"Good deal for area"

Always enjoy staying here when visiting Disney. Its a short walk to Downtown Disney and the parks and is one of the best prices in town. Rooms are always clean. Mattress was a bit firm and the water pressure was not great. Also never heated up past luke warm. But, hard to beat the price and distance, and management is always accommodating.

"Wonderful stay"

Stayed here for a solo Disneyland trip and it was an easy walk to a from the park. Loved the free parking and the fact that I could park right outside my room. Bed was comfy I slept great. Very quiet. Would absolutely stay again.

"Avoid at all costs!"

I dropped my daughter and her friend off at Disneyland and checked into my room. Checkin was fine, guy at the front desk was friendly. Went to my room, which was nice enough if a little expensive for what it was. Decided to take a shower. Reached for the shower lever to turn it on and a massive cockroach, which had been sitting under the lever, ran up my arm and jumped into the tub! I freaked. I hate cockroaches at the best of times. I videoed the culprit and rushed over to reception and showed the guy the video. “Well, that’s not good” he admitted! “Would you like some spray?”Spray?! I want a hazmat suit if this is the level of cleanliness in your establishment! He then offered me another room, two doors down. No real apologies, no offer of help to move all our stuff to the new room. When I’d finally moved everything into the new room, I immediately checked for cockroaches and thankfully didn’t find any but I was certainly on edge. I then went to unpack my stuff and put some things in the fridge. I opened the door and found two half-eaten slices of pizza sitting there staring me in the face 🤢 You’ve got to be kidding, right? I took a photo and went back to reception to inform the guy of this latest outrage. He said he’d send the cleaner over right away. When she eventually arrived, she cleaned the fridge out and left. By now, I want nothing to do with this place but have no real choice to find alternative accommodation at such short notice. When I went back to tell him about the pizza, I was expecting abject apologies and at least the offer of a discount on my stay. He didn’t say a word but I thought maybe that would happen when I checked out (thankfully, we were only staying for one night). On checkout, he did apologize for what had happened and handed me a coupon for a discount on my next stay with them. Like I’m EVER going to set foot in this cesspool again! I questioned him on this and asked about some money back for this current stay but he refused, saying because I’d paid in advance I was out of luck. I informed him that I felt that was completely unacceptable and my only recourse was to take to Yelp etc and warn future travelers about what they can expect at this place. So, here we are. To the Islander management- I hope your refund policy was worth all the future loss of bookings from people who read this and don’t like cockroaches or rotting pizza either.
