Anaheim Discovery Inn and Suites

I was in town for a conference/workshop. It was literally a block away from the and Anaheim Discovery Inn. Their location is second to none and the people, property, upkeep and overall experience for me was really really great!!

The motel is in a great location walking-distance to Disneyland and the Anaheim Convention Center. The room rates are very reasonable. Rooms are a bit dated but are clean. The room I was in lacked weather stripping around the door so you could out around the edges and there was a big gap at the bottom of the door so that was a little off-putting. My friend’s room was better. The location is safe and quiet. The desk staff were very helpful but the office hours were a bit limited. I think it was well worth the money and would stay there again.

We had such a wonderful experience at Anaheim Discovery Inn & Suites, and I especially want to recognize Manas for going above and beyond for us. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. He allowed us an early check-in, which made such a huge difference in our day and helped us settle in without stress. He was so friendly and accommodating even offering us something to drink and making sure we had everything we needed. You can truly tell he cares about the guests and takes pride in his work. It didn’t feel transactional at all; it felt personal and thoughtful. It’s rare to find customer service that makes you feel this appreciated. We, my wife and I were assigned to a small room, no table, only one night stand, The front door had a huge gap and cold air kept a loud, noisy heater turning on every five minutes. I understand that the cold weather was a bit unusual but it was difficult to sleep with so much noise on a worn-out mattress . We made the reservation with so much time based on uploaded room images and reviews but unfortunately it was not what we were expecting. I was so close on walking away. It was a rip off. I was embarrassed and kept apologizing my wife for the poor quality reservation that we got. We loved the proximity to the convention center that it why I am giving you a two point score otherwise, it will be one or none.

Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Clean and comfortable beds. Shower was a little small but water was hot with good pressure. Relatively affordable compared to other lodging in the area.

Even though it's right next to Disneyland, you actually have to loop around from Downtown Disney to enter the park. The closest entrance from Grand Californian is only for guests of Disney hotels.

I paid for a 1 Queen bed and was given a room with 2 full size beds. I went to the front desk and he said that the "manager upgraded you". First of all, i didn't ask for that. Second, I wanted the room i paid for. Taking a shower is a nightmare because the water pressure hiccups and will randomly turn freezing cold on you. The parking was also awful.

Very affordable, ans super kind staff. They let us keep our bags there all day while at Disney and the parking fee was cheaper than Disney, and the Inn is only a 15 minute walk to Disney. Clean towels and soap were provided, there's a mini fridge. With the affordability and just wanting to go to Disney, I think the overall experience was great and made my time at Disney enjoyable. The staff was very supportive in that.

The bathroom felt cramped with the way the door opens into it. And perhaps there could be 2 night stands instead of just one.

Clean room. Good price for the excellent location. Free parking and 10 minutes walk to Disneyland downtown.
