Second time staying at this hotel. Both times great experiences. Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. This last trip was for a basketball tournament and staff was very accommodating. Would highly recommend.

"A Perfect Weekend Stay"

Our stay in Holiday Inn Express in Arcata was fantastic! The rooms as well as the common areas were very clean and comfortable. We arrived on Valentine’s Day weekend, and the hotel was decorated so nicely, making it all the more welcoming. My daughter, a prospective student at Cal Poly Humboldt, happened to run into a staff member who is a current student at the university. She answered questions for us and even showed my daughter a little extra attention, which meant the world to her. The whole experience was wonderful. 10/10.

The place was very welcoming! It was clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast was great! Kids loved it. Only complaint was that there were noise coming from the next room as our room has a door to access it if needed to expand the rooms.
