Comfort Inn Winchester

Rooms were not the cleanest pool Wasn’t in service. It says they offer breakfast there was no breakfast. They need to update their amenities.

Cleanliness was … horrendous. First room 306 bathroom fixtures had not been cleaned… toilets still “streaks” Was moved to 303 … bathroom looked ok … ready for bed pulled back the comforter and the queen bed #1 had brown stains/streaks … sheet was wrinkled… it was never cleaned just tucked. Checked #2 queen and appeared like a new sheet… but only one pillow case looked clean out of the 6 possible. It was late, slept in #2 queen. Woke up to shower and leave … but, shower had so much black mold on brown streaks in the tub I left. Told staff at front desk and said they tell the manager and we be called… no call … as I suspected. I have never written a review on hotels … but this one appallingly. The positive was it was quiet and the window HVAC worked. The power cord for the room lamp was tucked under the mattress and plugged into the outlet behind the mattress… really ! In addition the ground pin on the plug was removed… looks like so it would fit … really! No pool either

The room was clean. The room was small but comfortable.

Size of room

Poorly cleaned room, dirty toilet, food left in fridge from previous tenant, dirty floors. Breakfast was terrible. Had no eggs, sausage. Out of everything.

Best place to stay while in Winchester

The pool has been closed for 4 years and the owner is NOT going to fix it. The breakfast was very bare. The vending machine had very little choices. The back door did not lock. The stairs were unfinished.

Nice clean place

Try taking a shower without hot water. After waiting for approximately 1/2 hour for someone to check us out, I then inform them that we were charged for two rooms instead of one. She told me that I booked through Expedia and I’d have to talk to them. instead of arguing with her, I disputed the charges on my credit card. Staying at this hotel my wife and I both agree it was a terrible experience.

For the price, exceeded my expectations. Comfortable, safe, not in too terrible of shape, decent breakfast.

Disappointed the pool was closed. Free breakfast was great!
