Holiday Inn Express Pekin - Peoria Area by IHG

We enjoyed this hotel. All of the hotel staff was very friendly and greeted us on arrival. We appreciated the available coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby as well as the fresh home made cookies. Rooms were clean. We didn’t have a suite but did have a fridge and microwave. Breakfast was good: cereals, fruit, omelets, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, etc. We were on the 3rd floor. The only negative I have is that the walls are a little thin. We could hear people in the hallway but it wasn’t too bad. Close to Walmart, restaurants and other businesses.

Really nice hotel. Room was great. We were on motorcycles and rain hit the day we were leaving. Checked out at 11 and stayed in the lobby until rain stopped. Staff had no issues with us hanging out for 2 hours.

Big shout out to desk clerk Nathan My elderly sister and I check in on Sunday~Thursday We lost a key card and he had another activated within mins Two more sisters joined us for a relaxing swim day and when we requested pictures of us in the pool Nathan gladly helped out all the while checking in other guests. He advised us on local shops and the best places to eat, 10 stars to Nathan and the entire staff, excellent breakfast selections as well
