Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge

room is good，stuff is friendly

No pool available, under construction. Left room at 8:00AM and still had not been serviced when we arrived back at 4:30PM. We finally had to request service. Housekeeping apologized and said they were understaffed. We experienced the same thing at breakfast the next morning, observing a very busy waitress and never received a second cup of coffee. The entire facility had a somewhat tired appearance in need of renovation. It was definitely not worth the prices charged.

Just finished spending 3 nights at JPL and it exceeded our expectations on every way. From the first minutes of arriving at property, the staff was friendly/accommodating and that carried through the entire visit…to the person. Everyone made you feel special On top of the staff, the room was clean and well appointed. Food was excellent and the overall property was meticulously maintained. The lodge is certainly on the higher end of accommodations in the area, but well worth it and provides a great value overall

A really lovely location and the grounds are beautifully kept. We had a lodge and it was spacious and nicely decorated. Great place to walk about and look at the lake etc. The commons areas in the main building are now tired and very uninspiring. The food options were ok but a place of this stature deserves better. We ate in the Italian and it was good and portions were huge. Staff were very friendly and the service in the restaurant was excellent. We had pre dinner drinks on the terrace which was lovely.

Everything about Jasper Park Lodge was very good but I wanted to make one complaint for those who are truly interested in the dark-sky preserve aspect of Jasper National Park, as I was. The lodge does not really respect the requirements of a registered dark sky preserve. There are strong streep lamps that run along the paths from the main lodge to the various cabins which prevent the sky from being truly dark. I went to the Planetarium kiosk and the lady there told me to go down to the lake. I did that and, yes, you can see more stars, but the street lamps were still close enough that it prevented it from being a truly starry night experience. The next morning I asked at the checkin desk and they admitted that when they turned the street lights off there was a saftey issue so they were able to carve out an exception to the dark sky rules. So it's a good lodge, but it should be known that if you're staying there you won't be able to experience a truly dark sky unless you have a car that can take to to a different location.

The location is fantastic and the grounds are great what a wonderful place to stay. However when we got there our room wasn't ready and we had a long wait for the room we were compensated with drink vouchers and then they gave our room to the wrong people so we were compensated with a bottle of wine. All of which we were very appreciative of. However when we got the room it was hot and there was no air conditioning and only fans that didn't cool the room at all. The bathroom was very small and our meal at the restaurant was OK. The premises were clean and we didn't have any noise.

מיקום החדרים רחוק, ללא מזגן, הבריכה לא היתה פעילה, סה״כ ציפינו ליותר בהתאם למה ששילמנו. ארוחת ערב אכלנו במסעדה איטלקית מאד יקר.
