Valet service was awesome. They were very helpful being that I am disabled and had a walker very hard to get into the spa because I had a walker, but I know how to work it. At one point, our room was so cold and the maid came and brought us a heater to heat up our room. She was so phenomenal. Also helped us learn how to work the coffee maker because there was no directions in the room as to how to use it. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to upgrade to the gold to where I could have access to the amenities there but my fault because I should’ve booked it earlier.

Beautiful hotel and my husband and I really enjoyed the restaurant and lounge downstairs. However, we were unable to rent movies from our room and weren’t told that was because we decided to use our debit card at check in for damage deposit rather then a credit card. We would have GLADLY used our credit card but the front desk did not tell us there were restrictions if we used our debit. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back but will make sure to use the credit card next time lol.

"We chose the wrong hotel. Don’t let it happen to you"

Booked delux room with view. The view is of a brick wall when this was questioned at front desk the attitude was we don’t book rooms with a view despite what our booking form said. Very unhelpful close to confrontational. Have stayed all over the world in quality hotels and never experienced this before. Sad end to great trip to Canada. Please beware when booking this hotel

We arrived in the room and had some issues, we reported them the next day and within minutes received a text from a manager named Georgen asking if she could call me! I agreed and the call was excellent, Georgen listened to our issues and by the time we arrived back at the room all the issues had been resolved ! Just fantastic service ! Also I’d like to mention Amandeep on reception for her help, and all of it with a huge smile. It’s not the perfect hotel but it’s as close as it could be to perfect, and it is 111 years old, highly recommend for location, staff and overall comfort.
