"I enjoyed my stay but now that I’ve experienced it, I don’t need to go back."

I had to stay here to see it and soak up some of the history. There is lots to do here including historical tours which we enjoyed. The funicular is right behind the building so you can get up and down the hill quickly and easily.

Nothing is included, everything costs a pretty penny but you have to do it at least once.

"Beautiful landmark, but just walk through it, not worth the price."

Location is perfect. The outside of the building is very impressive.

I was disappointed that the terrace was closed. The hotel is also very crowded and busy. The public is always wandering through and has access to everything. This is fine but really begs the question: why did I spend so much money? There is nothing really reserved for guests only.

"Poor value in a beautiful location."

Beautiful property with spectacular views.

The room was very small for the over $1,000 I paid. For that not even a useable fridge, bathrobes, or large windows in the room. Cocktails at the 1608 bar were very mid but cost $25.
