it was easy to get to Fort Leonard Wood

I was supposed to have a king size bed and pull out couch as stated on my reservation, when I got there we only had a king bed. they were renovating so the pool was closed, weight room was closed and no hot breakfast as it stated in my reservation, it was grab and go breakfast. The lady that was working the desk when we checked in said we would get some kind of compensation for only having a king size bed, and all they gave us was a Panera gift card.

When our 3rd party online site goofed and "provided" a room that was "out of order", the reception took it upon themselves to find us another room in the area. Most of the area was sold out but they, Destiney and Heather, found one that was availabie and SAVED THE DAY!!!! The manager also made sure that we were compensated for our time. Thank you Fairfield Inn. You get my reccommendations any time!

There is hardly any communication between the 3rd party bookings and the onsite bookings. My 3rd party booking was bumped without my knowledge. It took us a few hours to arrive and when we did we were told our rooms were not availiable as promised by our 3rd party.

CS great! Room was clean, they have a small are too buy water and essentials like toothbrush pads etc. Walmart is only 5 mins away, there are a lot of restaurants and a winery 30 mins away in St James. I stayed here one night with my son who graduated the army. If you are visiting to go to a Ft Leonard wood grad make sure to check their direct website for family day and graduation day, also join their FB group. The base is near St Roberts entrance from this Hotel and ( another one I stayed) about 12-15 min drive, line to get in can get long but it moves so give yourself enough time for that and if you care to get a good seat arrive early and bundle up good bc it’s very cold or have your family stay in the car if you have little ones or elderly on family day they let you in right at the hour and on graduation day 15 min early and they will bring more chairs out if needed. Both days you’ll get your soldier outside and on family day not sure if all companies allow soldiers to leave base but if they do they can only go out so far… they’ll give you instructions before they release them to their families oh and make sure your DL or ID have the star and that all adults have it. And if you’re not a US citizen ( not sure residents) you have to go a day before to the visitor center with your identification papers. Everything is on the FAQ on their website and be ready to probably fly back with a duffel bag full of your soldiers stuff.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and warm. The staff was very nice and helpful. Made us feel very welcomed.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The toilet had the water shut off for some unknown reason worked fine once back on. The tub had stains on the bottom that looked like cleaner that wasn’t wiped up properly.

All of the staff that we had contact with were exceedingly friendly and helpful! The room was very nice and very clean. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast too. Highly recommend. I really don’t have more words to get to the required two hundred characters. Thank you.
