Clare Country Club

We enjoyed staying at the country club so much we extended it another day, our window looked out over to the .9th hole of the golf course. An open fire, happy hour and an excellent restaurant and beautiful surroundings!!! What more do you want / thank you country club!!

We recently stayed in a two-bedroom unit at Clare Country Club and would happily stay again. The unit was immaculate and very well equipped, featuring two king-sized beds that were extremely comfortable. There were split-system reverse cycle air conditioners in both bedrooms and the lounge area, making the unit comfortable regardless of the weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, while the laundry was fully equipped with a washing machine, dryer and iron. The spacious bathroom included a separate bath, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and a hairdryer were all provided. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras, including a complimentary bottle of local red wine, bottled water and snacks on arrival. The grounds were peaceful and quiet, with lovely views from the unit. The property also offers a swimming pool, tennis courts and bike hire, although we didn’t have the opportunity to use these facilities during our stay. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout our visit. The only minor downside is that the property is located a little way out from the town centre, but this is offset by the quiet surroundings. We didn’t dine at the restaurant as it was closed on Sunday. Overall, a fantastic stay with excellent facilities, comfort and service. We would definitely stay here again.

There was only one teaspoon in the kitchenette and no crockery other then two coffee cups ….very disappointed
