Clare Country Club

Large appartment with great facilities, very comfortable bed

We recently stayed at Clare Country Club Hotel and had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the facilities were excellent. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing stay. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the high standard of service throughout our visit. There was genuinely nothing to complain about. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Clare Country Club Hotel to anyone visiting the Clare Valley. We look forward to returning in the future.

Room was great, modern, clean and all facilities worked well. Bar was good with nice heating. Staff very friendly and helpful.

I found some of the staff to be not as expected at a country club. We arrived at the bar 15 minutes before our booking to have a pre dinner drink. There was no room so we asked if we could sit at our table to have a drink. We were told the restaurant didn’t open for 15 minutes. We had to go back to our room. After our main course we were asked if we wanted desert. We were going to sit for a while just to relax and said we weren’t having desert. We were asked to move on as someone else wanted our table. It was a window table but it was dark and there was no view and there were plenty of other tables free. I’ve never been asked to leave because someone wanted my table. Our booking was for 6pm and we were out just after 7pm. A bit of a shock for us as this has never happened before.
