Clare Country Club

Large room. Comfortable couch and nice outlook. All good.

Lovely setting, very tidy and well kept grounds. Very comfortable and spacious room.

I bagged a great rate for this hotel and I didn’t mind its location (20 minutes walk from the centre of Clare) so I was happy with my stay. The room was modern and nicely furnished, although I was disappointed that the photos on the booking site I used were incorrect. They showed a room with a bathtub when in reality there was only a shower. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was good. Staff throughout the hotel mostly seemed young and inexperienced, but their enthusiasm made up for it.

The Clare Country Club is surrounded by trees & natural landscape with birdlife. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a well designed bathroom (including a large bath). We booked a studio apartment which was quiet and private. There was a verandah with a view of gum trees. The country club is located on the edge of Clare town with less traffic. But only a few minutes drive from the town centre. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience at the country club.

The website advertised a sauna in the fitness centre. We looked forward to try it. But after checking in, we discovered the sauna was not available (out of service). This was disappointing. We also had trouble with the WiFi internet network. We could not access the Accor (onsite) WiFi connection. It took time to find a solution (mobile phone internet). This was annoying.

Room was spacious, Bathroom was excellent. Bed was amazing. The restaurant was great, breakfast was good value, staff were very good. The complex was very relaxing and grounds were very well kept.

The marble coffee table needed a wet wipe.

Breakfast was average. They closed the reception almost 1/2 hour early not 7:30pm.. At 7:15Pm accidentally locked myself out of.my room. They wanted $50 to open door as was after hours.
